We ONLY use the best system available on the market for our customers. LIGHTSheer Diode Laser System delivers exactly that.
Laser Hair Removal Technology.
A diode laser projects coherent light in the visible to infrared spectrum using semiconductor technology. In order to target particular chromophores in the skin, it employs a laser beam with a restricted spectrum. The 800nm diode laser wavelength delivers the greatest melanin absorption and the deepest penetration levels when compared to other laser systems like the Ruby and Alexandrite. Diode lasers are the most effective technology for laser hair removal due to their special properties, which allow for the safe and efficient treatment of all skin and hair types on all body parts.
The Operation of a Diode Laser
Diode lasers target particular chromophores in the skin, typically melanin or blood, using the principle of selective photothermolysis, or SPTL. The lasers selectively heat the chromophores while sparing the healthy tissue around them. For instance, when treating undesirable hair, the melanin in the hair follicles is targeted and destroyed, disrupting the creation and regeneration of new hair. A cooling system or other pain-relieving techniques can be used in conjunction with a diode laser to increase therapy effectiveness and patient comfort.
Solution using Lumenis Diode Laser
Numerous clinical investigations and peer-reviewed articles have supported Lumenis' LightSheer diode technology. The LightSheer DESIRE features help our clients, who report excellent patient satisfaction. High-power diode technology, which can provide high fluence, is used by the LightSheer. For excellent performance, this is paired with user-selectable pulse duration, efficient contact cooling, and compression. Additionally, the LightSheer has a 22 x 35 mm spot size, allowing for a speedier and more thorough treatment.
How Many Laser Hair Removal Sessions Are Required?
Depending on the area that needs to be treated, you should arrange a certain number of laser hair removal sessions. In most situations, it takes 4-6 treatments to get extremely noticeable improvements. For complete and permanent elimination, 7–10 treatments may be required, spaced out over time.
